Welcome to HICC, Harrow's multinational church.
Come, worship and fellowship with us as we press onward...
Michael Carr, came to London in 1984 to be the associate Minster
of Kensington Temple during their initial period of explosive growth,
and also served as Superintendent of the Metropolitan Region for
the Elim Church. He resigned from these positions in 1988 and 1992
respectively and took on the pioneering of HICC which is now a flourishing
Pentecostal Church.
The vision of HICC is "To build a multinational community of believers
that worships God, walks in the light and witnesses unto Christ."
This is reflected in four aims.
Believers are encouraged to grow downwards into truth, upwards into
Christ, inwards into holiness and outwards into fruitfulness. Its
philosophy of ministry is reflected in three words:
Integrity
our
teaching on doctrine, relationships and finance has no knowing deception
or secret agendas, so what you see is what
you get!
Excellence
In world of compromise and substandard work, we try to put our
God-given talents, gifts and resources to the best use. We teach
that only our best effort is worthy of our call to ministry.
Innovation
At HICC we are obedient risk takers for God. We are not tied
by empty forms of tradition or elaborate religious ceremonies which
restrict the spreading of the gospel or inhibit personal growth.
We try to move in a way which God might direct us.
