All that we do and you see at HICC is based on God's Word. Our motto is; "together on the way to God, through Christ, by the Holy Spirit." That is fundamental to our vision and subsidiary aims. We are on the stretch for God and we are influenced solely by the power of the Holy Spirit through the scriptures to guide us onwards and upwards.

The worship you encounter here will be expressive and purposeful but never fanatical. We praise confidently, strongly and passionately, yet we are also sensitive and reverent. Our worship is always led in ways that fosters unity and emphasizes that although we are many nations we are one body, and the congregation is our choir. We do not pay professionals to entertain us. Our expression may involve emotion including laughter, applause or even tears. We desire to experience true worship that is genuine and liberating, not sensational or set.

When we gather for worship, we always welcome the Holy Spirit to function in ways that edify and encourage everyone. The Bible teaches that there is freedom in public exhortation, but it must always be given in a spirit of love, self-control, and humility. When the Holy Spirit is truly present, all things are done decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14).
